About the Role
As a Senior Python Developer at Kiana AI, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining our AI and machine learning applications. You will work closely with data scientists, AI researchers, and other developers to create robust, scalable, and efficient solutions. Your expertise in Python and experience with AI frameworks will be crucial in delivering high-quality software.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain Python-based applications and services.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
Implement and optimize machine learning algorithms and models.
Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices.
Conduct code reviews and provide mentorship to junior developers.
Troubleshoot and debug applications to ensure optimal performance.
Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, testing, and deployment.
Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
5+ years of professional experience in Python development.
Strong understanding of Python frameworks (e.g., Django, Flask) and libraries.
Experience with machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch) and libraries.
Proficiency in database systems (SQL and NoSQL).
Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
Solid understanding of software development principles and design patterns.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Skills:
Experience in AI and machine learning projects.
Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
Knowledge of front-end technologies (e.g., JavaScript, HTML, CSS) is a plus.
Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
